ATTENTION: ALL ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEERS (ECEs)

The INSTITUTE OF ELECTRONICS ENGINEERS OF THE PHILIPPINES (IECEP) INC., the Accredited Professional Organization of the electronics engineering profession, is encouraging all Electronics and Communications Engineers licensed under R.A. 5734 to apply for conversion of their license to Electronics Engineer and upgrade to Professional Electronics Engineer in accordance with the provisions of the new Electronics Engineering Act of 2004 (Republic Act No. 9292).

An act providing for a more responsive and comprehensive regulation for the registration, licensing and practice of Professional Electronics Engineers, Electronics Engineers and Electronics Technicians, Repealing Republic Act No. 5734, Otherwise known as “The Electronics and Communications Engineering Act of the Philippines”, and other purpose.

One of the requirements for conversion to Electronics Engineer and upgrading to Professional Electronics Engineer is membership in good standing with IECEP; all members are therefore advised to update their membership with IECEP as soon as possible in order to complete the requirements for conversion and upgrading of their licenses.
